Swedish film festivals

The Film Institute provides financial support to a limited number of film festivals with a distinctive profile which we deem to be of national interest. We give priority to festivals which complement the standard screening programmes of Swedish cinemas, festivals which are expected to attract large audiences and festivals which are important forums for the film industry.
