
Sound of Noise opens March 9 in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle och Austin, among others.
Since its premiere in Cannes 2010, Sound of Noise has faced great international success. The film has screened at 70 film festivals and was the most awarded Swedish film 2010 with 16 international awards, like Young Critics Award in Cannes, Best Fantastic Picture in Austin and Free Spirit Award at Warsaw Film Festival. It was awarded the prestigious Swedish National Award (Guldbagge) 2011 "for masterly assembling sound and music in Sound of Noise".
Sound of Noise is sold to 25 countries and has reached a large audience in for instance France, Russia, Turkey and Korea. Using music and sound as a universal theme, Sound of Noise has come to be a border-crossing cult movie with a rapidly growing fanbase throughout the world, from Settle to Taipei.
Tone-deaf policeman Warnebring is faced with the worst case of his career when six activist drummers decide to attack the city with their music, performed on anything but ordinary instruments. Sound of Noise is a musical comedy about love, lunacy and loud drumming.
