The Swedish Film Institute should, according to the Film Agreement, account for the average levels of funding for films made "solely or mostly" by women and men, respectively.
The division is made by calculating an average for every film, for the professions of director, screenwriter and producer. The average must be at least 60 percent in order for the film to be classified as "female" or "male". If the film ends up in the 40-60 percent range, it's not "solely or mostly" by one gender, it's being classified as "equal".
