A feature originally conceived as a short, Simple Simon (I rymden finns inga känslor) is a comedy about Simon, a boy with Asperger syndrome, and his efforts to fix up a new girlfriend for his brother.
Directed by Andreas Öhman, the film stars Bill Skarsgård, Martin Wallström, Cecilia Forss, Sofie Hamilton, Lotta Tejle and others.

Simple Simon was granted production funding by the Swedish Film Institute (Johan Bogaeus, commissioner of films for children and youth) and was produced by Bonnie Skoog Feeney and Jonathan Sjöberg at Naive Film. Co-producers include Sonet Film, Scenkonstbolaget i Västernorrland, Dagsljus, Ljud- och Bildmedia, and Filmlance. The film is distributed by SF Film, with SF International responsible for international sales.

The film had its Swedish premiere last Friday (3 September) and has already been a major box office hit in its first few days.
